Yes I tried booting up with the device plugged in, it also halted

The machine is indeed running the latest BIOS.
The BIOS should not, of course, be an issue since in recovering from
hibernate ALL hardware needs to have its state restored by the OS itself
-- I don't even think any AML code is involved. The ACPI S4 support
doesn't have anything to do with restorin
Here is my guess (purely a guess) on where to look for the problem.
Clearly a hook is being called on return from S3 and on return from S4
to fix the state of the audio device. On return from S3 (suspend) the
hook does the right thing. On return from S4 (hibernate) the hook is not
doing the right t
Oh, and there is one other possibility here. On resume from S4, the BIOS
has done an initial fixup of all the hardware after which the OS gets
handed control and then had to restore all state. On resume from S3, all
hardware was powered off (except for RAM) and the OS has a "blank slate"
from which
FWIW this is also present in 2.6.20-14 on an Acer TM3200. Probably the
i2c-ec-driver pulled in by sbs (sbs is read via ec)? In the working
2.6.20-12 I get the following warining message. At that point it hangs
in 2.6.20-14. If you need further info/tests let me know.

Right-clicking on a .torrent file and opening with gnome-btdownload
seems to work fine, as does the command line. The problem seems to come
when opening up gnome-btdownload and selecting a .torrent file with it's
selector. I ended up making a small change in /usr/lib/python2.4/site-

Not as much a bug as a small error.
The screen that allows you to select timezone says that London is GMT+1,
Copenhagen is GMT+2 etc. I don't know if that is because of summertime,
but the timezone of London is GMT .. Maybe it's just me not getting it
:)
