Ok, your last comments indicates that wpa_supplicant works correctly if
started manually. The fact that it drives/uses wpa_supplicant in a way
which isn't optimal on your hardware is another bug. Would you please
file another bug with additional information against network-manager?

I have the same problem on a Samsung X10 laptop.
I could not do a fresh install becuase the alternative installer could not
mount the cdrom despite booting from it to begin with.
After an online upgrade from Edgy I now have a phantom cdrom icon on the
desktop and no access to the real one.

Okay, just got OpenOffice 2.2 final in Feisty and this bug appears to be
fixed. OO no longer crashes when having small Crystal icons or
highlighting the Alignment menu of objects with the Crystal theme.

i see this as well. if you uninstall compiz-extra, the "flickering"
stops, and everything returns to normal.
if you restart the computer with compiz-extra on and desktop effects

Which kernel did you run before? Somewhere after 2.6.20-6 there was a
change to the bcm43xx-driver which makes a newer firmware necessary. Did
you try to fetch the newer firmware with an up-to-date bcm43xx-fw-
cutter? On my laptop 2.6.20-13-generic works well with my BCM4318 (r2).

I've just boot my machine with an edgy live cd and I could see that
everything that depends on the intel chipset is loaded correctly:

In comparsion to dapper, Edgy will always try to load bcm43xx driver
when your wireless-device has a broadcom-chip. You'll need to blacklist
bcm43xx driver, additionally you may need to add ndiswrapper to
/etc/modules. I used to run wifi-radar, which loaded ndiswrapper
automatically after blacklist

Okay, I have changed to "jspeed.private" as my tld
When I go "host -t soa private"
I get:

I get:

The bad stack trace may be down to /usr/bin/gnome-video-thumbnailer being a

When you saved the file, the file was saved with the UTF-16 encoding (I guess
