Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
On my system, this happens every time I boot:
1. Boot...
2. The GDM screen comes up.
3. I try to log in, but get a warning that my home directory is inaccessible
and that nothing will work.
4. I re-try the log in, successfully this time.
What happen
Unfortunately, this is one of those bugs that happen often, and yet
almost impossible to consistently and systematically reproduce. I was
able to find these two bug reports in Launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase/+bug/38983
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-kde
