I saw your comment about installing stock firefox into opt directory so
I tried it. Worked. So I thought to myself what about installing stock
binaries into /usr/lib. Well did that for the hell of it (figured
mozilla wasn't working right anyway). Guess what ?  It also worked!

I then thought back and remembered a similiar error when trying to test
Firefox 3.0a2 (compiled against XULRunner). Sure enough a download of
Firefox 3.0a2 (installed into opt this time) reproduced the same error.
It seems the fine folks at Ubuntu may be trying to merge a debian
experimental trunk of Firefox. Bad idea. The should really be pushing
this into the Alpha version of Feisty where it would be more at home.
