Thanks for the bug report. The space is unavailable due to the
restriction on the number of primary partitions to 4. You need to delete
an existing partition, create an extended partition, and put logical
partitions inside it.

The same here on my Acer Travelmate C111. Interestingly during the
Dapper release cycle there were some moments when it worked. But final
Dapper does not :-((

but then after I restarted the program, it worked.

I have the same situatuon,
If I use xmms to decrease volume to 0, volume control slider mute and
stays muted even if I increase volume level back (still using xmms
volume control).

Yeah, I can verify this bug. When I bought my laptop, they said the only
way I can get a refund for Windows is to return the whole laptop. So I
was stuck paying for software I NEVER used.
It's hard to find stores around here that will sell computers without
Windows. I am sick of paying for softwar
As I reported, my solution is "remove USB2 support in Bios".
Whatever different solution you found, the problem seams to be in kernel since
a lng time. One can only wait and see!
