Public bug reported: I've tried with little success to get the recent release of Ubuntu to work. If I don't get a black screen I get the following screen
Installer Crashed the installer cr shed (note no 'a") File "/usr/bin/ubiquity", line 130, in ? install(sys.argv[1]) File "/usr/bin/ubiquity", line 54, in install wizard = ui.Wizard (distro) . . . there are another 9 or 10 lines of similar but since I have to copy by hand and then reenter on another machine I've just shown the above. The final line of feedback says ZeroDivisionError: float division The machine is a HP Pavillion, 1 GHz AMD Athlon, VIA KT133/KT133A chipset, 256 Megs ram, and Windows was wiped. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- installer crashed https://launchpad.net/bugs/49427 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
