Oh yes, I can't attach /var/log/syslog, /var/log/partman and /var/log/installer/syslog, as mentioned in the error text since the machine doesn't work. By not working I mean two things. The screen is not rendered properly (especially the bottom of the screen) and after a key or mouse button press it takes a minute or so for anything to happen.
