The suggestion from Sven Romeike does not work for me, I don't have an
options.conf in my /etc/modprobe.d directory. Creating it, putting the line
options iwlagn 11n_disable=1
in and restarting the machine did not change.

I can confim the bug using the 3.0.0-15-generic #26 Kernel and Intel
Corporation WiFi Link 5100 AGN. It keeps asking for the WiFi password,
even though it is corret (copy&paste).

I got the exact same problem and can confirm the bug. My Laptop is a
Samsung R560 and my Wifi worked better from the Live DVD but after
install it disconnects randomly. I can also confirm that it doesnt seem
to be a network manager Bug, because it also acurs when i use "wicd" or
something else.

I can confirm this bug on my Thinkpad SL500 and Intel Wifi 5100. it works
perfectly in 11.4 but not in the final stable 11.10.
It displays wireless connections but refuses to connect to any of them. i've

p.s: why I think I didn't type the wrong password: on this USB live
image I have persistency enabled. I tested two other netbooks and they
were able to connect and the password was saved. So if the password was
already saved on the USB key, why it resulted wrong on the third PC?

I just tried another couple of times, always showing the password while
I was typing, like the other times and it worked. I don't know what to
think. Maybe I could be wrong last time or maybe it could be a sort of
race condition. Do you want me to mark this bug as invalid and maybe I

wrong password, infact it asks me it again after a couple of minutes,

It looks like from what I'm seeing you typed the passphrase wrong. I'd
try removing the AP from NetworkManager thru the Edit Settings menu,
then connect back up and retype in the passphrase.
