Maybe it is how the Network Manager behave: it thinks I've typed the wrong password, infact it asks me it again after a couple of minutes, but I've tried many times. This Oneiric live image works perfectly fine on my Asus 1005PE and on my Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t but it doesn't on Acer 5930G. I can try again if you want but I don't think I typed a wrong password. I'll keep you updated.
