I'm seeing the same problem. I'm trying to do an install on an HP R3000Z
(AMD64) laptop that currently has Fedora Core 5 and 6 as well as WinXP
on it. I'm trying to replace FC5 with Ubuntu 6.10. I've selected the FC5
partition to use as / for Ubuntu and

Had another go and it looks like it works, if I delete and recreate the
destination partition.
I'll also attach a debug log from the failed attempt.
