*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 67130 *** I'm seeing the same problem. I'm trying to do an install on an HP R3000Z (AMD64) laptop that currently has Fedora Core 5 and 6 as well as WinXP on it. I'm trying to replace FC5 with Ubuntu 6.10. I've selected the FC5 partition to use as / for Ubuntu and set the reformat box. I'm getting a "No root file system error". All Linux current Linux Partitions are EXT3. Here is df from FC6,
