This is still affecting me. Hardy 8.04.3 LTS/kpdf/HP 2300. Always prints documents in duplex along the long axis. Since Hardy is LTS We need to get the fix back ported from Intrepid to Hardy soon. This has been a bug for far too long. Does anyone have a solution or work around in Hardy? --

I can confirm this same bug for me. is there any fix out there? HP4050 Laserjet w/ duplex and network card, attached to local net. duplex works fine when print jobs sent from windows machines, but KDE 4.x/kubuntu 9.x recognized duplexer, but does not print double-sided. looking for a solution!

Confirmed on 8.04, amd64. Printer: Dell mfp 3115cn. It works nicely, but kpdf sends files which are identified by the dell printer as size letter. And the printer does not have a nice option to use another type of paper for a given job. Son cannot print. So after a few years with kpdf I have to
