I have the same problem. Give up Leandro, all Ubuntu is for free, you can not
expect it working like in windows

As I tried to explain above, the plugin works fine, the problem is that no
plugin handler suggests
the installation of the correct plugin. Is this really upstream? Of which
package?

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would
be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people

Correction, I did not have ubuntu-restricted-extras installed. So the only
problem is that
its installation is not suggested when the missing plugin is identified, and
also that when
one searches for such plugins in synaptic or the software center, instead of
being suggested
to install the rest
It worked after installing this:
GStreamer plugins for mms, wavpack, quicktime, musepack
from the Ubuntu Software Center. The thing is, in synaptic, when I type "mms",
the libmms0 package
appears, and not this one. I also had already installed ubuntu-restriced-extra,
shouldn't these plugins

I installed the libmms0 package and it still does not work. The same error is
provided.
