I can confirm this behavior. I had to switch UXA as system was painfully
slow prior to this but now I lost my session every time when I suspend,
which is VERY annoying. I'm on Thinkpad X200s with Intel's X4500 GPU,
running Jaunty RC with all updates

Session lost on resume from sleep in Jaunty
I have just moved to jaunty on my eee pc 900 which I have switched to
use UXA as it was almost unusable without it.
I am seeing this problem regularly.
Jaunty is looking like a bit of a disaster for netbook users (at least
those with intel graphics which is almost all)

Session lost on resume
I did a series of suspend/resume cycles with UXA enabled and for me it's fixed.
No crashes in two days of testing.
I have a dell E6400 with a GM45 card.

The problem is still present on my system. Dmesg shows several errors

with UXA mode enabled (Kubuntu Jaunty Beta).

I can confirm this bug on a intel 945GM.
Problem is that EXA is unusable slow (tested with KDE4 desktop effects,
"anholt" openarena demo),
while UXA is fast but breaks suspend/resume.
So there should be either a fix for EXA (making it faster) or a fix for UXA
(fixing at least suspend/resume).

when using UXA.

I got exactly the same problem with a Dell Latitue E6400 with the Intel
GMA x4500 graphics card when running with UXA (with EXA everything is
fine but it has its own problems, see bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/320813).
I think this bug has already been uploaded upstream:

For what it is worth, I experimented the same behavior on a Thinkpad X40
(Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)) when
DRI is enabled (UXA).
I disabled DRI in my xorg.conf file and then I could suspend-to-ram and
