Right, so can each of you confirm that the issue here is:
After a successful hibernation, the system does not resume from
hibernate successful.
As a result of an unsuccessful resume from hibernate, the swap partition
is left corrupted and not mounted as a result.
Could you please do:
sudo fil
Seen on Kubuntu Edgy running on an MSI MegaBook S262 notebook.

I seem to be hitting this bug under Kubuntu 6.10, upgrading from Dapper
using a multitude of dist-upgrades.[0] However, in my case, upon the
boot just after hibernate, it seems that my swap partition could not be
read, forcing the mounting process to bypass it. A manual `swapon`
doesn't work eith
