so, can you try w
- apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
- download libflashplayer-10.0.d21.1.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz from the adobe site
- put the .so in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins
- and restarting firefox worked for me.
Ugly workaround of course, this isn't updated automagically.

I'm using ubuntu intrepid Ibex 64 bit as well. Running on sony vaio vgn-sz4.
I've got built in mic, got also mic headphones with jacks and another one with
usb.
I can record sound in Sound recorder from all of them, also skype works fine.

Donpdonp has the same issue I reported.
When i look at the privacy tab its all set to go. It will access my
webcam like it should but its still not looking at my microphone.

im using flash10 and the pulldown list for microphones has just one
entry "linux microphone". i assume that is a built-in mic but my laptop
has no built-in mic. the mic in my logitech usb webcam works in ubuntu
just fine (sound preferences panel test will playback my voice) so its a

I'm not sure how ustream works, it tries to capture mic _through_ the
flash-plugin, right? So the service is completely web-based and no
special app is installed on your system?
