Hi, I'm using ubuntu intrepid Ibex 64 bit as well. Running on sony vaio vgn-sz4. I've got built in mic, got also mic headphones with jacks and another one with usb. I can record sound in Sound recorder from all of them, also skype works fine. Despite quite big effort I coudn't make flash 10 to capture the sound. Built in cam is fine for me in flash as well. Mic settings in flash shows only Linux Microphone. What ever it is It just doesn't capture any sound.
