I would agree that the bugs are very similar; however, I use Firefox in KDE4 and it works very good. Also Open Office works very good as well.but I am using OpenOffice3 from the PPA. One of the things I do when I install kubuntu-desktop is go back and install kde and all the kde styles/themes
