I can confirm this bug. I did a clean edgy install couple of weeks ago. Update-manager informs correctly about new packages, but when I click install packages it just examines, last thing it prints is Reading state information and then goes back to shot the upgradable packages. I've got a similar problem. Dapper Drake 6.06.1 32bit on AMD64 Clicking "Install Updates" with having market all availible updates just show's "Examing your system" and then doesn't install anything. The updates are still available. Sometimes there are some updates, which can be installed. Conso
