This happens if I use Alt+F2 gksu nautilus also have installed nautilus-gksu
and that does not appear as a right click option.
Therefore there is now no way to use nautilus as root.

Milesker Asier!
I solved this bug downloading the language file from Gnome's URL. Maybe
somebody doesn't want to wait. I followed these steps:
1- Download Nautilus' PO file from http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/eu
(Ubuntu Intrepid=Gnome 2.24). I have used this url:
http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/nautilus.g
Iñaki Larrañaga is in fact the maintaner of the Basque localization of
GNOME that I mentioned before. He doesn't translate in Launchpad, he
directly maintains the translation in http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/eu.
Afterwards people from Ubuntu take the localization packages and upload
them to Launchpad
Aupa Asier,
I've tried to update these strings from this url:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+source/nautilus/+pots/nautilus/eu/365/+translate
But it seems that only Iñaki Larrañaga can changes it...
--
nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_file_query_info()

I talked to the maintainer of the Basque localization of Nautilus, and
he has changed those strings in the GNOME 2.22 and 2.24 translations. Is
there any chance that we could get this into Ubuntu Hardy and Intrepid
as soon as possible?
Regards.

nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_file_query_in
The bug persists in Intrepid.
I identified the strings that produce the error in the Basque locale's
"nautilus.po" file. They are these:
#: ../libnautilus-private/nautilus-file-operations.c:2753
msgid "Moving %'d file (in \"%B\") to \"%B\""
msgid_plural "Moving %'d files (in \"%B\") to \"%B\""
ms
did as Asier Sarasua Garmendia recomended
only with the hebrew language pack ->
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/language-pack-gnome-he-base/language-pack-gnome-he-base_7.10+20080205_all.deb
it seems to be working fine now.
thanks

Thanks a lot asier and amenudo, I hope it works, only a question for
AMENUDO. Where you change the entry "etxea"??? I got the basque language
too, and I am changing the O.S. at work from windows to Ubuntu, but,
this bug is doing too hard the change for my work folks. Milesker

I've also solved the problem after comparing 7.10 and 8.04 versions, with two
comments:
- I replaced 5799 entry "Etxea" for "Karpeta nagusia" and it works. We use
etxea for home in some rows, and karpeta nagusia for some other, I suppose the
way is to uniformize them.
- It wasn't enough for me t
I managed to solve the problem using a dirty workaround: I just replaced
the defective "nautilus.mo" file in my /usr/share/locale-
langpack/eu/LC_MESSAGES folder with the old version used in Ubuntu
Gutsy.
In my case (Basque locale), I got the old package here:

Yes. I also have this problem with de Basque language translation.
Recently I added this line to my sources.list, to test the updates:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-langpack/ hardy main
And I installed this packages:

- language-pack-gnome-eu-base

I use the basque language package and this bug is still open. Some tip to solve
it or do I have to wait to be repared by devs?
