This is a summary of this bug's evolution and a 9.04 beta update.
7.10 : suspend and restore worked (by BIOS)
8.04a5 : (up to) only suspend "works"; resume crashes
8.04a6 : suspend itself crashes.
8.10 : idem
9.04 : suspend does nothing and X may freeze.
A copy of /var/log is attached in two 9.04
I'm having the same problems - on a Tecra M1 laptop. Basically, restart
just hangs, suspend and wakeup causes the screen to be exceptionally
large with no way to navigate around the screen - only the left top
corner is displayed on the screen in very large format. I'm running
8.10 and I was hopin
6 months later : 8.10aX : suspend continues to crash.
And I wonder what's the use of my reports if regression from 8.04a6 to 8.04a5
was not even considered.
Maybe is it because I seem to be the only one speaking in here?
