I don't think you should use gnome update manager, because that is specific for
Ubuntu and Gnome. So you should use gnome update manager, only if you have
installed Gnome as desktop enviroment.

My system is up to date; I have the new version of Adept.
I suspect I've made a mistake: as I stated I miss the "new distribution" button
in the *update manager* ("Gestore aggiornamenti" in Italian). So probably that
is not a problem with Adept, am I right?
