Thanks for your help.

It's clear that the "Manage Repositories" tool shows the
/etc/apt/sources.list file.

Last time (i.e. from Edgy to Feisty) I solved the same problem by adding the 
Feisty
repositories by hand in that file. I put my sources.list file as an attachment

I don't understand what "Enable the "Recommended updates" and "Pre-
released updates" repository" mean.

I looked on internet at the repositories list and I can find
* feisty-backports/ 
* feisty-proposed/
* feisty-security/ 
* feisty-updates/ 
* feisty/   

No "Pre-released updates", and of course I tried to drill down in the
directories.
