I'm sorry, just a second too quick!!! gnome update manager (I mean the one you can see here: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/upgrading) doesn't "see" the new version. adept shows me the "Version Upgrade" button.
Do you think it's meaningful to signal the gnome update manager behaviour? Anyway thank you very much for your help (grazie mille!)
