Onboard always starts with english layout

Moreover, I remember there was a time, where the order of the layouts in
Settings -> Keyboard Layout was also of importance to have Onboard use
the correct layout. You might also try to see whether the order of the
layouts changes anything about the behaviour of the bug.

Thank you, this all looks very bépo to me. I can't spot anything wrong,
wonder what's going on. It doesn't seem to be directly caused by
Onboard's at least.
"setxkbmap fr bepo" isn't really a permanent workaround. You'd have to
run it again (or make it run) after reboot. Instead, could you please
I changed my bug report accordingly.
The command "setxkbmap fr bepo" fixed the problem.

- I have installed Onboard on a non-touch laptop, so when I use it, I click the
virtual keyboard with my mouse. In particular, Onboard shows up when I try to
enter my password when my
Weird, Onboard showing a different layout than it types isn't supposed to

When you switch between typing on a physical keyboard and Onboard, do you see
Onboard's key labels changing to a different layout?

As for bug #872701, I clicked-typed my password in as if I were shown a Azerty
layout (the default French keyboard layout), but it still didn't work.
I have indeed version 3.4.2-0ubuntu0.3 of libgtk-3-0.
Onboard does show the correct Bépo layout.
