As for bug #872701, I clicked-typed my password in as if I were shown a Azerty layout (the default French keyboard layout), but it still didn't work. I have indeed version 3.4.2-0ubuntu0.3 of libgtk-3-0. Onboard does show the correct Bépo layout. I barely have other problems with my keyboard layout (except in certain closed-source video games).
I just made an additional test: in fact Onboard does not work at all here. It does show the right layout, but when I click "bépo", I get "qwer". This is not only for the lock-screen but everywhere.
