yeah, that seems pretty similar. I think the bug was originated in libmutter. But that was fixed a while ago. cinnamon is built on top of gnome3, so i don't know why it would work differently. Oh, Linux Mint is based on Debian, not Ubuntu now, right? So maybe the bug fix hasn't been sent upstream.
