"headphones" settings, but there are all the other speaker output modes
(duplex 4.0, 5.1, etc), and selecting any of these modes does not help.

When I use my onboard audio instead this problem disappears completely.

In any games that use SDL for input (Quake 3, for instance), the mouse is
unusable while any key is being pressed.
If only one key is being depressed, the mouse will jump in odd angles in the
direction it is moved. If two or more keys are depressed, the mouse does not
work
Whoa, I didn't even see that this bug was marked as fixed. The patch
posted above did not fix this bug for me. Sounds like Knarf and Daniel
fixed a similar bug above.
I'm guessing that this must be a cs46xx related bug... How can I help
track this bug down?
