Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xfce4-places-plugin
I am running the beta of Intrepid on an old Sony Vaio laptop. It hard locks when I shutdown after one (or more) suspend-resume cycles. Here is the only error message I get in kern.log: Oct 20 12:25:37 sicksony kernel: [ 311.014830] PM: resume devices took 2.212 seconds Oct 20 12:25:37 sicksony kernel: [ 311.015383] PM: Finishing wakeup. Suspend to ram 2. Resume 3. Attempt to shutdown via logout menu Result: Hard lock, no sysrq-keys work, have to hold down power button. ** Affects: xfce4-places-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- hard lock during reboot, from xfce4-places-plugin https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
