I can verify that using updated linux kernel (3.19-rc6) and libmesa
(10.5.0~git20150127.5c83a0d2-0ubuntu0ricotz~trusty ), chrome and firefox
do not crash the system. I tried Google Inbox in chrome, where scrolling
for few minutes was crashing the system, and no crash. I tried going to
youtube in go

Hi,
The prebuilt packages contain a revert of the patch causing the regression. The
following links contain a kernel with the fixing patch backported from upstream

Hi,
The same issue (no resume after suspend) occurs on my machine as well
(also an inspiron 1525).
Will be happy to follow through and assist debugging. Per the request in
the thread here, I opened a new bug report for this issue at LP:1330043

It seems to be a bug in uvcvideo, which is fixed upstream. Check out the
instructions at http://www.soccio.it/michelinux/2008/10/25/webcam-
cheese-gstreamer-and-uvcvideo-problems-in-intrepid/en/ . The workaround
there solved it for me in cheese. Will report a bug against uvcvideo
later on tomorow (
Happens to me as well. I think that multiple file activities on a
Corsair Flash hit a slow path. Maybe a kernel problem? Maybe
Nautilus/kernel integration problems? It is really really weird.

When upgrading from fiesty to gutsy beta, the upgrade process keeps the old

The old (fiesty + backports + proposed) version of lvm2 combined with lvm10
