Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

When trying to install Gutsy as an upgrade, the upgrade manager crashed
in a very weird way. The first time I tried to run it, I left it
overnight, and in the morning I waked up and found a bazillion of apport
windows, about completely unrelated applications (qemu, firefox, etc.).
In my second attempt to run the upgrade, it crashed, with some very
weird output in the terminal. I will attach next the main.log, apt.log,
main_pre_req.log and term.log.
