Software Manager? They have all kinds of stuff in there: Skype, Picasa,

I AM able to run compiz-fusion, but not at start up. I just hit alt+F2,
and type compiz --replace &
Presto, got compiz running. Quick and dirty fix, but I got's to have my
eye candy!!
