As soon as I open a tex-File, emacs will change its window size, when I
switch between emacs buffers. E. g. I do a CTRL-x 3 to get two buffers
displayed side by side and when I switch between these buffers (mouse or
CTRL-x o) the emacs window becomes smaller by approximately o
11.04 is also affected. I think it has something to do with gs Version
9. If "-dSAFER" is removed from the gs options preview mode works but
this can be dangerous.

I can confirm that the bug is fixed in cpio 2.11. But Ubuntu 10.04 is
still shipped with 2.10 - strange!

I have this problem here with a Kyocera FS-C5100DN which is connected to
my LAN. It is still there in 10.04 Beta1.
BTW - the bug only shows up on my 64bit installation. The 32bit
installation of my other machine works.

I can confirm this behaviour on Kubuntu 9.10 amd64 release . I have
TMPTIME=0 in /etc/default/rcS. But df gives this after reboot:

I tried to install bacula on my backup server. I used the meta package
bacula. mysql was not installed on my machine, therefore it was

No, it does not cause the misbehavior of the applet.
I think the same problem is reported in Bug #477814. I was not aware of
this Bug report, because I assigned the bug to a different package.
