I can confirm this behavior with Amarok using my Logitech Internet
Navigator keyboard. This bug appears to be a duplicate of launchpad bug
#87299 which has requested no more "confirmation reports".

I've recently reverted back to the network manager package offered by
Fionn after he explained the process of forcing a version in synaptic.
Setting the timeout to 3 (30sec) has prevented disconnects
(completely so far). Is there a public forum where we can ask stupid
questions about the patch
I also received the "Could not connect to wpa_supplicant - re-trying"
message. At this point when I entered ap_scan 0, hit enter, then
ctrl+c, my network stopped dropping. (Still, I may have performed a
disservice by not testing a solution for several days before posting)

that the temporary workaround found in a similar bug #37821 has helped
relieve pain for me.

Hello folks. I wanted to report my experience with the patch by Fionn.
In the three days of testing it on Ubuntu Fiesty with NetworkManager
0.6.4, I can report that it does help significantly but has not
completely eradicated the problem in my case. Over the last 16hrs
