I've Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I add nvidia drivers 361.42 and switch to the integrated
graphic card (intel 4400 HD). After the restart there are some graphics
glitches like in the attachment.
A workaround that i found is disable hardware acceleration but this doesn't fix

Re-booted computer. Now clicking mail icon displays "broadcast" and
gwibber is displayed. Seems to be fixed if python-indicate is installed.
Can anyone else confirm this?

I had the exact same problems on my acer aspire one 110L netbook with skype
2.1.0.81 beta running on Ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix. I tried installing the
latest pulseaudio (0.9.22) from the ppa but that didn't work.

With today's latest updates to jaunty, I'm no longer getting the "failed
to retrieve share list from server" error when browsing "network" from
nautilus and opening "windows network". Browsing my samba shares is now
working correctly. I'm connecting to a buffalo linkstation running samba
2.2.8a-ja-
This is no longer an issue for me, using jaunty with today's updates
applied, connecting to a 250 MB buffalo linkstation (samba 2.2.8a-
ja-1.1).

I installed Robert's patched libsmbclient included in bug #282298 and I
can now see all my files and folders on my buffalo linkstation (250 MB)
using nautilus. I had the same issue as euda in that I could no longer
see files and directories on my linkstation.

I have the same problem when connecting to my buffalo linkstation using
Intrepid (updated this morning). Nautilus seems to connect ok but files
and folders are not visible. If I connect using smbclient //server/share
and use the -W and -U options all the files and
folders are listed when I enter
I've noticed a similar error when opening an excel file in OOo 2.4
(ubuntu). Excel seems to try and convert text to a value automatically
when a mathematical formula is applied to a cell which contains a text
value.

I'm getting the same issue with hardy beta, today's updates installed,
nvidia-glx (GeForce 2 MX) - see screenshot. As mentioned above, it only
seems to happen with windows maximised. I have visual effects set to
normal. After updates of a week or so ago, I didn't notice the problem
but it has start
I should also add that this bug of frequency formula results being
displayed in a random order also occurs when using the example from the
openoffice.org help file, see attached. As its only a small file,
sometimes the results are displayed correctly but sometimes its in an
apparently random order.
I've tried some other array formulas and there doesn't seem to be a
problem with them.

I'm using a fresh install of hardy beta on a desktop pc with today's (28
Mar) updates applied. If I try to connect to a samba / windows share, on
my link station, using Places -> Connect to Server... and only enter
the service type (windows share) and server name / ip addres
Adding the line - Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true" - into the screen
section of xorg.conf works for me as well, using hardy-beta with a fresh
install. Nvidia GeForce2 MX 32 MB using nvidia-glx package (installed
using restricted drivers manager). Selecting "normal" under visual
effects now works;
I did a ctrl-alt-F1, logged in, then "sudo shutdown -h now" and there
were some network manager messages but not the ones regarding "no
debugging symbols found". The first was "NetworkManager:
nm_signal_handler():caught signal 15, shutting down normally". Then
