package repositories? The bug aspect of this means there are missing

Hello,
I haven't made any progress in solving the suspend issue. I'm a bit lost in all
the packages that are involved in the suspend/resume procedure
(udev/hal/pm-utils/apci/etc) and which are (partially) phased out in Ubuntu. If
you can suggest me things to try, I would be very grateful.

You're right: I should have MOVED them, instead of deleting.
SO: if you have problems with the display size of your screen when
moving from metacity to compiz (as described above), try to MOVE the
directories mentioned above by renaming them. Gnome will then generate
fresh directories for you when

concerning the previous comment on the function keys: the F1 and Fn-F1
keys remained swapped after reinstalling the nvidia 185 driver. I had to
'/etc/init.d/pommed stop' and edit the fn value in /etc/pommed.conf,
then '/etc/init.d/pommed start' and then (yes!) stop it again, edit the
fn value again
I have inserted SUSPEND_MODULES="sky2" to
/etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module according to

anything.
Also I disactivated the nvidia driver 185 from "Hardware drivers", but
no change still.

I upgraded from 9.04 on a macbook pro 4,1 and the sleep/resume cycle

to sleep: the screen goes dark, but not dark-dark. I've had a cursor
flickering once when I try to resume.
