Please close.I kinda solved my own problem.
Turns out that my password had expired in the Windows domain (I didn't
know this, ironically).Changed it and I was able to use the plugin
via ews sucessfully.
Having major issues with the calendar plugin though, will continue to
investigate and

Just installed 14.04, and am trying to get the 'evolution-ews' plugin to
work as a 'normal' user to connect to exchange 2010. Account creation
doesn't work as a normal user, it only sucessfully works when run as the
'root' user.
To reproduce:

I also tried entering in the Host URL and OAB URL generated from trying
this as the 'root' user. The account will create, but when you try to
'check mail', evolution gets stuck in this endless loop of asking for
your Exchange password. So I strongly suspect it's
+1 for Maverick. It's still supported, and without getting into a long
off-thread debate about Unity and Gnome3, Maverick is still supported by
your own admission .. and it seems all that's needed is a (re)build of
the .deb that works for the other distros.

Just to follow up on my issue with this. I'm up and running on 7.04,
but in order to get this going I had to recompile kernel. As I
mentioned above, this is an issue with the switch to the libata
interface for older PATA-style drives. It's just not quite "there" yet
stability-wise as evidenced b

I have the same issue, and just wanted to add to this. It's a
showstopper for me on feisty because all of my user data, etc is on an
ITE RAID-based card, and the array isn't recognized with Feisty
2.6.20-15. I get the following messages at boot time:

This is also a problem on the 32-bit version of feisty.
However, after installing network-manager-gnome, I was able to
successfully add a VPN connection with knetworkmanager and it did show
up in my "list" of VPN gateways to connect to (left click --> VPN
connections --> connect to .)
