This is also happening on my machine, the segmentation fault prevents

the kilerc file manually, but it is a pain. I've tried removing kilerc
completely,

from previous versions as the reporter states in that within previous
versions, Ctrl+F would open the Find (and Replace) dialog while now

No, all must be improved; users who are running gnome 3 (fallback in my
case) see the old strings about the Administration Menu, which no longer
exists in gnome 3 either. So, I think rather than being deleted these
should be amended as well.

"Gnome 3 Fallback" would be more accurate. There is no longer a system
menu. Many of the launchers that used to be in System are now in
Applications->Other which took me a while to find.

This problem just recently started happening on my system although I
haven't made any configuration changes aside from updating packages. I
think there might have been a fix released at one time, but it looks to
me that recent updates have reintroduced the problem. I have this issue

I also just found out that for laptops without a scroll-wheel / middle mouse

I can reproduce this behaviour consistently. For me it is occurring with
any new program launch(gedit, Thunderbird, Firefox), and I am not
running any of the previously listed programs (Chrome, K4B, Evolution).
The unity launcher does not stick when simply selecting an already open
program. Closing
