Update: I solved my "buggy video drivers" issue by deactivating v-sync.
So to summarize: changing the video drivers seems to fix this bug for me. I'm
currently using fglrx_updates.

I have quite a story with this bug. Immediately after upgrading from
10.04 I had a problem with Nautilus crashing and I thought it was
related with the video drivers (it wasn't as I discovered later). So I
used the hardware drivers tool to update the video drivers, but the new
drivers were kind of

Update: restarting Evolution won't work (restores the message but hangs
again when trying to send it). Killing evolution-data-server-2.28 from
the system monitor (it is still there after killing Evolution) does
allow me to send the mail on next start of Evolution.

Same here, msi wind u100. For some reason I only receive the warning but
no action is taken. After a while the estimated remaining battery time
is correct, so the only "problem" I have is a warning every time I pull
the plug.

On my portege m100 (82852/855GM) the following worked:
1) upgraded kernel to 2.6.34-020634rc5-generic
2) removed "nomodeset" from kernel boot parameters
Both step were necessary.
