capture, and then briefly check the internet...I did NOT plug or unplug

Clean install, 16.04 64 bit...volume indicator keeps popping up. Also,
the volume position does not agree with my system volume position.

I am running LTS 10.04 on my laptop, and yes, the bug still
exists...even with the latest kernel installed and running. I am
presently running a patched kernel which eliminates the bug completely.
The patch was found at the following bug link: #578506. After patching

listed above to ec.csince then, the computer has been been going
into and recovering from stand by with no problems...I have not had to
pull my battery once to reboot! Hopefully this patch will be

The crash is caused by the following: libglib2.0-0
2.22.0-0ubuntu2-ppa2~jaunty (jaunty). I'm running Jaunty 9.04 fully
updated (except for libglib2.0 and its associated files.) I don't recall
adding any third party PPA's to my repositories, however, that's not to
say it's not the cause! I'll attach
To confirm Chuck's comments above, down-grading libglib2.0-0 to a
previous version solved my problem as well..."Computer, Network, and
Trash" can all safely be clicked again without fear of having Nautilus
bomb-out on me.
I was highly conflicted rolling back the libglib package, as I wanted to
