As Ubuntu 7.04 is no longer in use, I think this problem has been fixed.

Hi,
I have installed a printer and now I wanna delete it. Then the new
(introduced by Gusty) printer configuration program asked me for my
passwd. I entered, but the window asking me for my password still there.
I tried several times, it doesn't work. I can't delete the print

I found a strange problem on my new Ubuntu 7.10 64 version. If I wanna
run some programs, I get "no such file or directory" error. This problem
happened even when I am just in the directory of this program.

I have an IBM Thinkpad R51e-2xc. When I boot it from Gusty beta live CD,
it froze at starting CUPS for a quite a long time without any response.
I have to kill it by Ctrl+C so that the boot process can continue. I
don't know why.

patch the kernel. I have been bothered by this problem for quite a long
