Public bug reported:

hi
I have a D-link DWL-650 Wireless LAN card. It works well on previous version of
Ubuntu as well as the first time I logged into my new Gusty box.

But after I upgraded my kernel version as the Update Program Notifier
asked me, I found it doesn't work, though I can see it in "System" ->
"Preference" - > "Hardware Information", as well as "lspci".
04:00.0 CardBus bridge: Texas Instruments PCI1510 PC card Cardbus
Controller
05:00.0 Network controller: Texas Instruments ACX 100 22Mbps Wireless
Interface
There is no such interface wlan0. I also can't see it in "System" ->
"Administration" - > "Network".

According to this list,
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardwareSupportComponentsWirelessNetworkCardsDlink
, this card is driven by the kernel module acx100. So I tried "sudo modprobe
acx100" and got this result:
:~$ sudo modprobe acx100
FATAL: Module acx100 not found.
If I try to load module "acx", I will get this result:
:~$ sudo modprobe acx
FATAL: Error inserting acx
(/lib/modules/2.6.22-8-generic/ubuntu/wireless/acx/acx.ko): Invalid argument

I have tried to boot to the first kernel image. But the problem still exist.
Why I can't load that module?

Can anyone help me?

PS: I also attach the snapshot to the page about this card in device
manager. dmesg.log is also attached.
