Based upon the wiki and Dave Coffins web site, the latest stable version
is 9.11, Oct 7, 2011 and provides support for the Canon SX30 IS and
Canon EOS 600D which several of my friends and I had purchased a while
back, and as dcraw is a tool used to accomplish work, we are quite
anxious to see it up

cameras, and the version in ubuntu is quite out of date, and it appears
ubuntu 12.04 is even staying with the out of date dcraw 8.99 version.

Having difficulty downloading the LiveCD, but /var/crash is empty and
apport was set to 0. I enabled apport and started it, then opened
Firefox and on the 3rd attempt to use the search engine field, I

systems running 9.04 or 7.04 have an Xorg.conf file either. I just finished
upgrading an HP Desktop to 9.10 and it had no Xorg.conf file previous or after
the upgrade.
Should the 9.10 upgrade be creating an Xorg.conf
