I still have the problem that if I remove acpi=off from the boot parameters
the system reboots during boot up. (pretty soon after it starts to boot
whilst the screen is black)
There is no visible panic it
A quick update
I can still only boot the Samsung R560 with AMD64 if I use the acpi=off
boot parameter (only using this one at the moment, I do try it without
after each new update).
I have applied all the patches and updates that come down from the usual
ubuntu amd64 repositories and the problem
Ok guys.
I get pretty much the similar.
At boot up you get the initial menu and when you choose any of either
the install or live options you get a message claiming he Kernel is live
and then the machine reboots.

Following the above I checked my sources and updates etc and found that

Yup there both real bugs and the same problem manifests with both
packages gqo and bomberclone.
I actually added an item manually, but thought that the packagers might
want the feedback and the opportunity to put the polish on.
Compared to the effort to get the app there in the first place it see
Substitute refference to qgo with bomberclone
sorry it's been a long morning on the blag.

my screen resolution which is 800x480 the
bottom of the window is off the bottom of the screen and the window
is'nt sizeable.
Other than the above it looks great.

stability though leaves the question of whether it will dispoint

though seems to be quite happy with it.
This problem appears to be manifest across all of the source module
packages that require compiling/building.
I have tested this with the atmel wifi driver and got he same results.
ie de nada.
