I have the same problem, with me it is every time. I reported the bug as
new. The summary on my bug says Banshee crashes each time i close it. So
every single time i quit banshee I am forced to quit the program because

I have not being able to make the sound work again. I have rebooted so

I compiled to the latest version of alsa drivers and the sound started
working again. However after a few mines sound was gone. Something makes

I have the same problem. I insert the disc to the drive, then wait for
it to appear on the desktop. Once it is mounted i right click and select
to open with m player, vlc or xine, all the programs just crash while
trying to play the dvd.
