I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 Server and Windows 2008 R2 inside the VM. The
OS inside the VM does not matter. It is reproducible on both. Tested
using these steps:
1. Start VM
2. Hit 'Send Key'->'Ctrl+Alt+Delete'
- See that nothing happens. On Win2k no login screen, on Ubuntu no reboot.
3. Set the focu
This happens for me, too. I'm using xmpp as single account. When I close
kopete so that it is in the notification area it crashes after some
time. When I try to open the kopete window from the notification area
this is not possible and nothing happens. This happens at least since
Maverick and still

I did a diff of both files. The main difference is that the evdev_drv.so
is not loaded the first time xorg is started. If I understand the log
correctly xorg uses hal to discover hardware?!? This smells like some
nasty dependency problem. When looking at /etc/rc3.d/ you will see this:

I'm using kubuntu 8.10 upgraded from gutsy some time ago.
The default new kde4 menu has duplicated entries for some programs when using
the search function. One entry has the correct icon and description. The other
one has a default application icon and ends with .desktop.
This bug could already be fixed in intrepid. As the kernel is still
linux-image-2.6.24-19-xen (there is not yet a newer kernel in intrepid)

I found the reason for the bug.
The script we used to test snapshotting used xfs and made a xfs_freeze
just before snapshotting. This triggers a race condition inside the
kernel which tries to freeze the filesystem to do the snapshot.
IMHO the kernel should check if the filesystem is already froz
The problem seems to be solved with latest edgy pakages. I'm not sure but I
think installing libsasl2-gssapi-mit solved it for me.
Kmail should not offer gssapi if the libsasl2-backend is missing!

Steps to reproduce
1. Create a logical volume for testing ;-)
2. Create a snapshot of this volume.
3. Create a second snapshot of this volume.
-> Crash
This can be reproduced in dapper, edgy, debian sarge, debian etch,
gentoo but not rhel and suse.
I can confirm this bug on edgy. The behavior of nsce might have changed
and you need to specify the tables to be flushed. Its marked as fixed in
debians bugreport.
