Upon automatically re-running dpkg --configure -a, the system was able
to sucessfully update. A selection of warnings from the screen (running
in `screen`, so I missed quite a few)

I had to purge ntp and then use aptitude to reinstall the openntpd
package to resolve it.

I just installed the package from debian.scribus.net and now Scribus
seems to work properly. Here's what I did:
Opened Adept
Adept -> Manage Repositories
I selected the "Third-Party Software" tab and added
deb http://debian.scribus.net/debian/ feisty main non-free
I refreshed the package list.
