Public bug reported: This issue occurs in Kubuntu release 7.10. My Scribus version is 1.3.3.9, 03 May 2007, Build ID: C-C-T-F-A, using Ghostscript version 8.61. In Adept, the package is scribus 1.3.3.9.dfsg-1ubuntu1.
I was using Scribus to create a document that I wanted to export to PDF. I included some EPS figures in this document, but when I tried to export the document to PDF, the EPS figures were shifted down and to the left. If I export the Scribus document as an EPS or an image (PNG, JPG, etc), no shifting occurs. Additionally, no shifting occurs for non-EPS figures included in a Scribus document (PNG, JPG, etc). I believe this problem is a bug in Scribus itself, and I believe that the Scribus developers have fixed it in the release after 1.3.3.9: http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=6315 It seems to me that a version bump of the Scribus package will resolve this issue. ** Affects: scribus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Scribus does not embed eps properly when exporting to pdf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191862 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
