I re-installed gsfonts, gsfonts-x11 and gsfonts-other. This had no
effect. I restarted the font-server which seemed to have no effect. I
restarted X (ctrl-alt-bs) and xfig seemed fine.
Then I rebooted and X came up fine. I think re-installation and
rebooting might help. In any case my compute
I have this problem. I tried the font choices. The Palatino and Avant-
Garde fonts worked, but the others did not.
I am running 6.10 with fluxbox as my window manager. The dpkg-
reconfigure/xset trick did no good.
I'm one of those academics Patrick mentioned who use xfig a lot. I'm
