Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: amarok
There are broken translations of en_CA in amarok. The status bar and
tooltip both show "_: track by artist on album" instead of the actual
track name, artist name, and album name.
The error probably stems from the following translations:

Now that kdebase-runtime depends on shared-desktop-ontologies in lucid,
everything seems to be working (though rebuilding the nepomuk database

I'd actually built mesa myself before I saw your comment, and yes,
reverting that upstream commit fixed the bug. I then tried your package
(7.6.0-1ubuntu2~bug446425~2) which, oddly enough, didn't fix it. Did
the patch not apply properly?

Please include this patch in Feisty. I'm developing the compositing
version of KWin in KDE, and it simply does not work with hardware
acceleration (r200) without this patch.
I've verified that this patch does fix the problem, and doesn't appear
to cause any other problems.
